I have only recently recovered from a couple of back to back back injuries and am starting with a general strength routine to get my body ready for some serious training.

For those of you that have the Spartan Health Regime it is basically the Super Strength Routine on Mod, Wed & Fri, with some aerobic conditioning on alternate days (Tue, Thu, Sat) and ab work done Mon through Sat.

I will provide the details shortly.

Monday
-AM

Warm up 10 mins (spot sprints, bodyweight pushups & dips)
Press
Press Behind Neck
Chins
Barbell Row
Squats
Dips
Dumbell Bench Press or Flys
Barbell Curl
Leg ups
Frog Crunch
Scissor Sit ups
Total work out time about 1.5hrs
EAT
REST

Tuesday
-AM

Road work
-Jogging 15mins
-Interval Sprints for at least 1min then jog 3mins for 15mins
-Jogging 15mins
Leg ups
Frog Crunch
Scissor Sit ups
EAT
REST

Wednesday
-AM

Same routine as Monday only Stiff Legged Dead Lifts instead of squats
EAT
REST

Thursday
-AM

Same as Tuesday
EAT
REST

Friday
-AM

Same as Wednesday except squats again instead of the S/L Deadlifts
EAT
REST

Saturday
-AM

Leg ups
Frog crunch
Scissor Sit ups
EAT
REST

Sunday
REST

This is the start of my 3rd week, after this week we'll do one more of the same routine before I add some specific conditioning work to my road work and another session a day with some bag work and anaerobic conditioning.
